Product Description
CMI 3"x100' Equipotential Bonding Grid Kit EB3100
Make pool safety and code compliance easier with the CMI 3' x 100' Equipotential Bonding Grid Kit. Designed to create a uniform electrical potential around your pool deck, this NEC®-compliant system helps protect swimmers and guests from dangerous stray voltage while simplifying installation for builders and electricians.
Key Features & Benefits
- 3' x 100' copper bonding grid installs beneath concrete or paver decks, extending 3 feet out from the pool’s inside edge as required by code.
- Meets NEC® Section 680.26(C) and utility industry standards for equipotential bonding, supporting safe, code-compliant pool installations.
- Made from exothermically welded #8 solid copper with 12" grid spacing for reliable conductivity, durability, and corrosion resistance.
- Helps equalize electrical potential and protect against lethal stray voltage around the pool area, reducing electrical shock risk.
- Ideal when the pool perimeter beam is less than 12", providing the full 3' bonding zone in one easy-to-install roll.
- Roll-out design with included stakes makes it a one-person installation, saving time and labor on the job site.
Included Installation Hardware
- UL-listed JRD rebar clamp rated for two #8 bond wires for secure, direct-burial connections.
- 17 #8 split bolts to tie in corners and connect grid sections to the rebar clamp.
- 16 metal stakes to hold the grid in place while rolling out and positioning under the deck.
